A useful query from a candidate and my answer.

I think time management is the most important thing in this ibps clerk exam.I have one tachnique of time management that can be very useful for the students appearing for the exam. You have 120 minutes to go.So you should try to attemp your subjects from ur best part to the worst part. You should try to save time for the subjects u are not gud at.In my opinion one should start wid GA and coputer and should try to finish the both parts in 20-25 mins.Bcoz there u will find que. like whether u know d answer or not.so just don't waste ur single sec. on thinking.make quick decision whethe u wanna go wid the que. or u wanna leave dat.in this way u'll be able to complete these both sections within 25 mins.then u should choose the best part of urs nd should try to finish that within 25 mins.then u'll get 70 mins for last two parts so u should try to complete next part in 30 mins.so u'll get a maximum time of 40 mins for the worst part of urs.nd u'll be able to get more time for the subjects like maths and reasoning.

    • I followed that tachnique nd i attempted 38 in GA,35 in computer,40 in english,35 in reasoning and 28 in maths. So in that way i attempted 176 questions and i think it was quite enough.

sir,i just want to tell the students how to manage the time.bcoz that's the biggest issue in this exam. And there were not only difficult questions but some very easy que were also there.so if one is leaving the difficult ones then he can easily save time for the easy ones nd can attempt even more questions in aggregate.i just want u to publish this tachnique on ur page so students can be able to know how to manage their time and how to make maximum attempts in each subject.

    • Sir i m going to face interview in central bank on 23rd feb and i have a very important question in my mind.please suggest me the answer.
if a banks' total deposit is rs.100 than how much amount it can lend?if it is 100-23(slr)-4(crr)=27 percent than will the bank have not keep money for it's demand deposits?and what is capital adequacy ratio?
      sir plz answer my question.

    • If the deposits is Rs.100 --- 23 and 4 go for SLR (securities) and CRR. Balance 73 only is available. Banks will anticipate demand from depositors (this is done based on experience also seasonal withdrawals--they will keep 25% or 20%) and lend the balance amount only. Banks have to earn interest to pay interest to depositors and also manage establishment expenses, borrowing costs (if borrowals are there). plus bank should pay dividend to shareholders. (govt. and others) roughly 50 to 54% they will lend. While doing so if withdrawal is more then they resort to market borrowing, call money and adjust for the time being.
