IBPS RRB PO INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE. 2017

Time: 8.30 am
Panel: I
I reached the venue on time and reported to my panel. They marked my attendance and asked me to wait for my call for biometric and document verification. They asked every candidate to arrange the documents in a sequence mentioned in the admit card.
Biometric always fails when you wish this process to go smooth. However after 10 to 12 attempts it was finally successful and I proceeded towards document verification. After document verification the wait for the interview started. Mine was second last in my panel. I entered the interview room at 11.56 am.
There were 7 members in the panel(6 male, 1 female).
Me: (opened the door) may I come in please.
M4: Oh yes yes, please come in.
Me: (with a smile) Good morning ma’am, Good morning sir’s
M4: Good morning, take your seat and be comfortable.
M4: Kya naam hai aapka?
Me: told
M4: Kaha se hai aap?
Me: Sir mai Bilaspur se hu.
M4: Bilaspur me kaha rehte hai aap?
Me: Sir mai vasant vihar colony me rehta hu.
M2: Oh, SECL se hai aap (vasant vihar is a colony of South Eastern Coalfields Limited).
Me: Yes sir, mere father SECL Bilaspur me posted hai.
F1: Sanjay hume SECL k bare me kuch bataiye.
Me: told
F1: Very Good
Me: Thankyou Ma’am
M2: Sanjay kya kiya hai aapne?
Me: Sir maine 2015 me SSITM Bhilai se Computer Science me BE ki hai.
M2: Aapne CS me engineering ki hai aur aap bank me aana chahte hai, I think ye match nahi ho rha. Kya aap explain kr sakte hai.
Me: explained well (looked satisfied)
F1: Aap Bilaspur hai to waha k bare me kya jante hai, kyu famous hai Bilaspur?
Me: told
M6: Commercial banks k hote huye bhi RRB’s introduce karne ki jarurat kyu padi?
Me: explained
M5: Aap hamare constitution ya country k bare me kya jante hai?
Me: told few points mentioned in our preamble briefly (I explained briefly because detailed explaination would have troubled me in later questions)
M5: 26 january aur 15 august me kya difference hai?
Me: told
M5: Hamara constitution lagu kb hua?
Me: told
M5: Azadi ki pehli ladai kab huyi thi?
Me: Sorry sir I don’t know
M5: Moderate aur extremist leaders k naam bata sakte ho?
Me: Sorry sir I don’t know
M4: UNESCO k bare me kuch bataiye.
Me: thought for a while then explained
M4: acha ye SHG kya hote hai?
Me: told briefly
M4: Kisi gaon wale ko banking system se jodne me kya problems aa sakti hai?
Me: told
M3: Achha Sanjay aap kitne samay se Bilaspur me reh rahe hai?
Me: told
M3: Aap itne saalo se bilspur me reh rahe hai to aapko Chhattisgarhi bhi aati hogi?
Me: Sir muje Chhattisgarhi puri tarah se samjh me aati hai aur thodi bahut bol bhi leta hu.
M2: Aapki hobbies kya hai?
Me: Sir muje cricket or wwe dekhna kafi pasand hai.
M2: WWE?
Me: Yes sir, it stands for world wrestling entertainment (everyone surprised)
M1: Chalo kuch to unique sunne mila aaj. Accha is samay wwe me India ko kaun represent kr rha hai?
Me: told
M1: Aur Jindar Mahal se pehle kaun karta tha.
Me: told
M1: Recently wwe se related India me kuch hua hai kya?
Me: told
F1: Sirf dekhte ho ya ladte bhi ho (all laughing)
Me: No Ma’am I only enjoy Watching it (smiling).
F1: okay beta, thankyou, all the best for your result.
Everyone gave their best wishes, I thanked everyone and left the room.
There were few cross questions based on my explainations, I handled them well, everyone was satisfied. Interview was for less than 15 minutes. Whole interview was in hindi language. This was my first interview, the experience was awesome, gave me positive vibes for my future exams. Hoping for good marks and good result.

I completed my RRB scale -1 interview. Here, I would like to share my
experience. I am from Bihar but I had filled up the form from UTTAR PRADESH.
The interview was conducted in my regional language ie., HINDI. My timing was
1:00 p.m. After completing verification, I went for the interview around
2:30p.m. They called me around 3:00p.m.
The panel consisted of 4male and 1 female.
Me: May I come in sir,
M1: Yes, come in.
Me: Good afternoon ma'am and good afternoon sirs.
M1: Good afternoon take Your seat.
Me: Thank you, sir.
M1: Kaha se ho NAVIN?
Me: From Bihar.
M1: Bihar me kaha se?
Me: From east Champarann Motihari.
M1: But you mentioned Delhi Kalkaji.
Me: I told them about my education from Delhi, graduation and post
graduation.
M1: Apka apna house ya kiraye pe rhte ho?
Me: I told no sir rent pe rehte hai, then all the members are laughing and
told me both are the same. Yes sir.
M1: Family me kon kon hai?
Me: I told them.
M1: Tell me about your city.
Me: Explained.
M1: Tell me about your family background & educational background.
Me: Told.
M2: Some questions related to my father.
Me: Answered.
F1: Gone somewhere away from her seat.
M1: Some questions related to my brother and sister.
Me: Told.
M1: Abhi kya krte ho?
Me: I m teaching 8-12th class students.
M1: Kitna earn kr lete ho?
Me: Told.
M1: Good.
M1:Banking ombudsman kya hota hai?
Me: Explained with example.
M1:Kitne banking ombudsman hai abhi aur kis kis state me hai?
Me: I told them 20 and some examples from Delhi Kanpur.
M1: Apne RBI ke bare me suna hai?
Me: Yes sir, told them about RBI.
M1: Functions kya hai RBI ka?
Me: I told them in brief, but they asked me, "aur btao", then I
moved to Monetary Policy details.
M1: Ok. He asked me SLR, CRR, RR, RRR.
Me: Told them in detail.
F1: (Back to her seat).
M1: NDTL ke bare me suna hai apne? kya hota hai ye?
Me: Told.
M2: Agar Bank ki last year business 3cr thi aur iss year 18% increase hui
hai toh total business kitna hua?
Me: Told them immediately and they all smiled.
M1: Asked the other person, "aur kuch puchna hai?" toh baki
sabne kaha, "nahi sir..."
Me: Thank you ma'am and sirs, have a nice day...
It lasted for 11-12 mins. Overall, my interview was good. Only two
members were asking questions and others were judging my performance I guess.
