ESSAY WRITING
Effects of Pokemon Go
First introduced in 1998, the Pokémon franchise is one of the most popular and long-running video games series of all time. Pokémon GO, the latest instalment, was released by Niantic in early July.
Now available in most regions throughout the world, the game has been downloaded over 75 million times — and this is before even reaching both China and South Korea.
The newest iteration of the classic Nintendo game takes the Pokémon experience to the next level by allowing users to interact with a virtual game world while walking around in their own cities and towns. Much like in the earlier console, PC, and Game Boy games, the player moves to collect Pokémon, levelling them up and having them battle at gyms.
Much of the world was taken aback by the sudden reveal of Pokémon GO. This game has shattered expectations as to what an augmented reality app could be, and led to a number of unforeseen consequences — both good and bad.
Fans of this new type of gameplay are excited about its ability to draw people together to socialize while at the same time encouraging more outdoor activity and movement. The game has proven that “gamifying” exercise is one of the best ways to draw kids and adults off the couch. Already, individuals who suffer from symptoms of PTSD and depression have come forth to commend the game’s positive impact on their mental well-being.
Beyond mere accidental inconveniences and the inevitable dangers associated with distraction, criminals have devised how to use the game for truly nefarious purposes. According to one home security website, some people have tried to register their residence as a Pokéstop for the express purpose of luring people onto their property to rob them (or worse).  A group of men in Missouri camped out near a Pokéstop and mugged several unwary players who passed by.
Additionally, individuals concerned about privacy and data collection have noted that the game app requests full access to users’ Chrome accounts, and any information gathered could be forwarded to companies or government bureaus. Niantic says that this was an error and that a patch to ask users for only limited access is in the works, but it’s further proof of the fact that no communication across the “cloud” can ever truly be private.
Pokémon GO became the number 1 downloaded app in the United States less than a day after its release. Nintendo may also be able to tap into marketing dollars from businesses that pay to have their locations marked as Pokéstops.
Pokémon GO has brought us a new type of game experience that’s having an impact not just on players, but society at large. Though the game engages players more closely with “real world” environments in an exciting new way, serious questions about security and the potential for criminal activity remain. It’s important to address these topics now because the issues surrounding Pokémon GO will be relevant long after the game itself has faded from the spotlight of fame.
The negative aspect is that boys and girls are getting addicted to this game and this affects their studies and career development.

.Importance of history of a Nation
It is important to study history so one may learn about past human behavior that is relevant to the intellectual growth and development of an individual.  Studying the events of the past give us an understanding of how the world came to be, not only in your world but around the world including all cultures of people as well as nature. By learning about the causes and effects of events in history, people can learn better ways to deal with conflict among nations and individuals.
It allows us to think critically about our present situations to take decisions for our future. understanding history helps us avoid repeating the mistakes over and over again. The more we study history , the wiser we become. Doomed are those who can't interpret history well.
Studying the history of environmental changes can enhance a healthier lifestyle for mankind, as well as prevent the extinction of plants and animals, which could disturb our ecosystems.  Although human behavior is unpredictable at times, a better understanding through the study of history, can provide valuable insight for our future generations.  The more we study history we can become wiser and it will improve our intelligence.
Study of history will teach us how many of the present problems can be solved.  We can also know the mistakes committed by our predecessors and that can help us eliminate them.   Studying history may help a few of us feeling satisfied with what we have considering the standard of living of our predecessors.
However historians are also partly subjective and they always praise the leader they like and criticize the leaders they do not like thus not revealing the real situation.  However history is not specific like Science or Mathematics as different historians comment in different ways.
History of a nation will guide not only the leader but also its citizens to improve their functioning.

Essay on positive effects of Hike in salary of an employee
When the salary of an employee is hiked it gives the employee a satisfaction that his work is recognized and he is considered important.  This motivates him to put forth extra efforts and improve the output.  A hike in salary also help the employee to spend more amount for satisfying his needs like housing (accommodation), food, education, entertainment, health etc.
An increase in salary may reduce the debt burden of the employee.  He will be able to send his children for studies in standard schools or colleges.  He can also use the money for arranging for tuition and extra studies and also for giving the children exposure to games, dance, drama and other  arts.
The negative aspect of salary increase is that it brings proudness to employees and makes them spend in unwanted things like gambling, drinks etc.   These activities spoil not only their mental health but also their  health.  A few resort to borrowing more money from outsiders anticipating increase in salary and land them into problems.
Another negative aspect of salary hike is that money available in the hands of employees increases and they spend more money thereby resulting in inflationary trends in economy.
A salary hike similar to Seventh Pay Commission will result in pushing up the demands of products and services and thus improve the economy. Experts said the higher pay out will boost consumption demand, especially for consumer durables and services.
The domestic demand push as well as good monsoon will drive growth.
"We estimate gross domestic product growth at 7.9 per cent in 2016-17.
"Besides arrears pay out will also mildly support consumption demand," Crisil Chief Economist D K Joshi said.
Implementation of the much- awaited pay hike for over 1 crore (10 million) central government employees and pensioners will be a positive for the economy as it will push up consumption although its impact on inflation is likely to be moderate, economists say.
The negative aspect of this is that employees in unorganized economy may face the problem of increased prices and reduced purchasing power since their wages are not increased.

Dear Sir,
I write to comment on the habit that is increasing among the youth namely taking selfies.   The invention of smart phones is helping people to take selfies.  This helps in youngsters not depending on others for taking a photo.
This habit of taking selfies  is resulting in loss of many lives – a young man tried taking a selfie on top of a running train and was electrocuted and thrown away and injured severely.   In another case a young man fell from the top of a mountain top when he tried to take a selfie and died.   Many similar deaths go unreported.
I would request  you to publish an article on this and advise youth suitably..
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
s. abcde
II.  Write a letter to your parents regarding the new job in a new city and problems faced therein.
My dear Amma/Appa:
I reached Ghaziabad two days back and I reported for duty at the company that has selected me in campus recruitment.  No doubt the company is paying a decent salary.  But the standard of life is completely different from our home place.
I am staying in a paying guest accommodation house.  Four of us are staying in one room.  The space available is quite less.
The city  is very congested and the shops are dirty.  In hotels where the atmosphere is nice the cost of eatables is very high and I cannot afford within my salary.
Above all I have problems regarding the communication.  Here people talk in Hindi only and I do not know talking in Hindi.  I talk in English and try to understand slowly from what they speak.   I hope to get over these small difficulties soon.
Pranams to you and to grand parents.
Yours sincerely
Xyz

The parents of students studying Class 9,10,11 and 12.
Dear Sir/Madam:
Our School has been having very good results for the past over four years thanks to the efforts of the teachers and the students.  It is observed in a few classes considerable number of students do not attend classes regularly.    A few students do not study for the class tests and also do not complete the home work assignments given to them periodically by the class teachers.
You will agree that parents also will have to see that their wards concentrate on the studies and they carry out the assignments given to them.  I request you to keep a watch over your son/daughter and guide him properly so that he/she scores good marks in the examinations.
With best wishes
Yours sincerely
(Jaijairam)
PRINCIPAL.
