SCHEMES LAUNCHED BY GOVERNMENT

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana

is a Government of India scheme designed to provide continuous power supply to rural India.The scheme will replace the existing Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY)The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be launching Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) on 25th July 2015 in Patna.



Soil Health Card Scheme

launched by the Government of India in February 2015.Under the scheme, the government plans to issue soil cards to farmers which will carry crop-wise recommendations of nutrients and fertilisers required for the individual farms to help farmers to improve productivity through judicious use of inputs



Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana

The decision was taken on 1 July 2015 at the meeting of Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), which in turn was headed by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY)(Hindi: प्रधानमंत्री कृषि सिंचाई योजना) is a national mission to improve farm productivity and ensure better utilization of the resources in the country.



Jan Suraksha Schemes (PMJJBY, PMBSY)

The premium for PlJSBY is such that even the poorest of poor Indian would be able to afford it. The premium is just Rs 12 per annum for each member. This amount would be deducted from the policy holder’s saving bank Account with an auto-debit facility, in the month of June every year.These people are those who are mostly below the poverty line and insurance is an unaffordable service for them. PMSBY aims to reach such people with its benefited insurance schemes after the successful performance of Jan Dhan Yojana.



Rashtriya Gokul Mission

The government of India has initiated Rashtriya Gokul Mission in December 2014exclusively for the development and conservation of indigenous breeds in a scientific and holistic manner with an allocation of Rs.500crore for the first time in the country.Gokul Grams are being established under the scheme which will function as centres for the development and protection of Indigenous Cattle breeds.

Sukanya Samriddhi Account

The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra modi on 22 January 2015as a part of the Beti Bachao, The scheme encourages parents to build a fund for the future education and marriage expenses for their female child.

PAHAL-Direct Benefits Transfer for LPG (DBTL) Consumers Scheme

The PAHAL (DBTL) scheme was earlier launched on 1st June 2013The subsidy on LPG cylinders will be credited directly to consumers‘ Aadhaar-linked bank account.



Gold Monetisation Scheme

GMS, which modifies the existing ‘Gold Deposit Scheme’ (GDS) and ‘Gold Metal Loan Scheme (GML), is intended to mobilise gold held by households and institutions of the country and facilitate its use for productive purposes, and in the long run, to reduce country’s reliance on the import of gold.



The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI AAYOG)

The National Institution for Transforming India, also called NITI Aayog, was formed via a resolution of the Union Cabinet on January 1, 2015.The Government of India, in keeping with its reform agenda, constituted the NITI Aayog to replace the Planning Commission instituted in 1950. This was done in order to better serve the needs and aspirations of the people of India. An important evolutionary change from the past, NITI Aayog acts as the quintessential platform of the Government of India to bring States to act together in national interest, and thereby fosters Cooperative Federalism. the first meeting was held on 8 February 2015. The Prime Minister serves as the Ex-officio chairman.The governing council consists of all state Chief Ministers, chief ministers of Delhi and Pudicherry, Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar, and vice chairman nominated by the Prime Minister



Atal Pension Yojana

It was formally launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9 May in Kolkata.Atal Pension Yojana (previously known as Swavalamban Yojana) Government will launch the Atal Pension Yojana (APY), which
will provide a defined pension, depending on the contribution, and its period. The APY will be focussed on all citizens in the unorganised sector, who join the National Pension System (NPS) administered by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA)



Pradhan Mantri Gram Parivahan Yojana (PMGPY)

Pradhan Mantri Gram Parivahan Yojana (PMGPY) is a new scheme to be launched soon by the central government. Under the PMGPY scheme, the government would provide interest free loans to women self help group to buy commercial passenger vehicles



Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY)

Government of India has announced Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana for citizen age 60 years and above. LIC of India has been given the sole privilege to operate this scheme. It has been decided to launch Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana on 4th May 2017. The scheme shall be available for one year from date of launch.
