SBI PO Cut Off Detailed Analysis

Now the question comes that how much overall marks are required to qualify SBI PO. Overall for a General category student, total 58.93 marks (out of 100) will be required to qualify.
Now let’s analyze how:
Final marks are counted by counting Phase II (Objective + Descriptive) + Phase III (GD + Interview) and the breakup for the final 100 marks will be like this:
Mains (Objective + Descriptive) = 75
GD & Interview = 25
Total = 100
Now for example average marks secured by the selected candidates in GD + Interview = 30 (out of 50)
Which mean that out of 25 the score will be 15.
So remaining 43.93 (58.93 – 15) marks are to be secured in Mains (Objective + Descriptive) exam or in other words:
43.93 marks (out of 75 marks)
Now, 43.93 x 250/75 = 146.43 marks
Therefore a selected candidate would have secured around 146.43 marks out of 250 marks or about 58%.
