India becomes largest exporter of rice
India has now become world's leading rice exporter, .The feat has been achieved by superseding southeastern Thailand, India.
In 2015, Thailand exported 98 million tons of rice and India has exported 102 million tonnes of rice which is higher than 4 million of Thailand, according to the organization.
